Calm For Kids has been running mindfulness classes and workshops for children, teens, parents and teachers since 1998. Over the years we’ve developed techniques to introduce mindfulness to children in a fun, engaging and effective way using yoga, mindful movement, breath awareness, rhythm and games.
We offer training courses for teachers and parents to develop mindfulness skills to introduce to children and have produced the best selling Calm For Kids CD/audio range as well as co-authoring the Mindful Storytime book series.
As well as being a senior yoga teacher, Christiane trained to teach mindfulness with The Centre for Mindfulness and Research at Bangor University. She follows the good practice guidelines set out by the Mindfulness Network.
As a parent, Christiane found mindfulness to be a invaluable resource for both dealing with challenges as well as helping her be present and enjoy precious moments with her family.
