Mindfulness has had a big impact on the modern workplace; implemented by some of the most successful companies around, it is increasingly seen as an antidote to modern workplace issues and a way to promote positive wellbeing. 

The Mindful Living Show brings you a range of expert speakers who will focus on key topics for our working lives such as stress reduction, collaboration, creativity and enhanced leadership. Here, we focus on two of our speakers who will share their insights on mindfulness in the modern workplace.


Michael Chaskalson
Author and Trainer
Mindfulness Works

As well as being a highly experienced teacher of mindfulness, Michael is a pioneer in its application to leadership and other workplace contexts. He is the author of the agenda-setting book The Mindful Workplace (Wiley, 2011) and the bestselling Mindfulness in Eight Weeks (Harper Thorsons, 2014).

Based on his 40 years of personal practice of mindfulness and related disciplines, Michael now shares his insights and research with audiences worldwide as a keynote speaker, coach, consultant, and teacher. He works with global corporations and public sector organisations, as well as individuals, so that they better understand mindful leadership practices.

Michael has also been a successful social entrepreneur, founding a fair trade company that came to have annual sales of £10 million and 200 employees. He is founder and CEO of Mindfulness Works and a Professor of Practice at Ashridge Business School.

Neil founded The Conscious Professional in 2012 to provide mindful education to corporate clients and support professionals in their quest for purpose, authenticity and excellence. In the course of his career as Barrister, Trainer and Coach, Neil has worked with almost all of the Top 100 Law Firms and has trained thousands of professionals from diverse industries in a wide variety of skills.

Neil has over 20 years of experience with Mindfulness practice. He is a Usui Reiki Master, Life Coach and the Author of ‘100 Mindfulness Meditations - The Ultimate Collection of Inspiring Daily Practices'. He offers Mindfulness Retreats at Champneys in the UK and is a visiting teacher at The Esalen Institute of California where he teaches his Fine Art Soul Portrait process.
